Agatti Island Airport

Agatti Airport serves the Lakshadweep Union Territory's Agatti Island. The airport first opened its doors in 1988. It is the only airstrip in the archipelago, off India's west coast. The airport is built on a 45.9-acre plot of land. Agatti airport has a single runway 1204 meters long and 30 meters wide. During peak hours, the airport terminal building can handle 150 passengers. A DME and an NDB are two navigational aids. The Airports Authority of India manages and operates it (AAI). The airport has direct flights from Kochi and Bangalore and is connected to most of the country via these cities.

The airport's primary airline is Air India. At Agatti Island airport, passengers are provided with all the basic facilities.

The airport has a single terminal with a passenger capacity of 25 for both arrivals and departures. Due to the airport's low passenger traffic, it only has one check-in and one security counter. The airport terminal building is 566 square meters in size. Passengers at Agatti Island Airport are provided with luggage trolleys, a wheelchair for physically challenged and elderly passengers, and a medical facility. Visitors and travelers can park 75 cars in a 2,000-square-metre parking lot.
