Dimapur Airport

The airport serving the city of Dimapur in the Indian state of Nagaland goes by that name. Since its construction during WWII, this airport has served as Northeast India's only link to the rest of the country. Plans are in the works to increase airport capacity to meet international standards, and land in Aoyimti village is being acquired.

The two largest airlines that operate regular service from this airport are Air Indian and Indigo.

Dibrugarh, Kolkata, Delhi, Patna, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Birsa, and Ahmedabad are just some places that can receive these services. Flights between Kolkata and Dimapur are the most frequent, occurring seven times per week.

Only one domestic terminal and boarding area are available at this airport. The terminal can accommodate up to 350 arriving passengers and 200 departing passengers. The Dimapur Airport terminal is a spacious 3,583 square meters and features 2 check-in counters for passengers' ease.

At no cost to travelers, airports provide convenient luggage carts for moving bags from one location to another. The airport's lost, and found counter is there to assist passengers whose bags were misplaced, and the airport's X-ray baggage scanning facilities contribute to overall security. The airport authority also offers help to passengers who are elderly or disabled. Wheelchairs and medical assistance are also available to passengers.
