Lengpui Airport, Aizawl

Lengpui Airport is a domestic airport located in Aizawl, Mizoram, India. The Lengpui Airport in Aizawl is the only airport serving the state of Mizoram. The State Government built Lengpui Airport, the country's first large airport, in a record time of two years and two months. The Lengpui Airport's 2500-metre runway is unique in that it has many hilly streams. Lengpui Airport currently has a Cat-I Instrument Landing System installed, which will assist planes in landing safely in low visibility conditions.

At least four jet fighters will be stationed at Aizawl Airport by the Indian Air Force. The Aizawl airport's aviation fuel service department is managed by Indian Oil. There are 120 chargeable parking spaces available at this airport. The Airports Authority of India manages and controls the airport (AAI).
