How did it start?

In the year 1975-76, a tourism event called Tourism Year was organized in South Asia. Since then, except for a few initial years, the festival is celebrated every year in November-December.

Organized every year in winters, this cultural extravaganza Lucknow Mahotsav is a 10-day-long festival with flawless folk performances exciting competitive activities, entertainment& fun, and mouth-watering cuisines and delicacies.
