By Air- The nearest airport is Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair, about 3 km from Andaman and Nicobar. Major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Chennai are connected to Port Blair by major airlines such as Indigo, Vistara, and Spicejet.
By Sea- It is the only alternative to reach the island if you want to ditch flying. Several cargo ships can reach Port Blair from Chennai, Vizag, Kolkata, and Vishakhapatnam. Given the unpredictable weather and sea conditions, it may take 3 to 4 days or more to reach your destination.
