Besides the Gharials, Ken Gharial Reserve also houses several other wildlife species such as the Wolf, Nilgai (Blue Bull), Dholes, Chinkara, Spotted Deer, Jackal, Indian Fox, Wild Boar, Hyena, Languar, Peacock, and Monitor Lizard. Visitors may even spot the Sloth Bear and Leopard during the evening hours if they are lucky. The sanctuary also boasts of various flora species such as Teak, Seja, Salai, Gunja, Flame of Forest (Palash), and Khair, among others.

Ken Gharial Reserve can be accessed from sunrise to sunset, and visitors can take a boat ride during fixed hours. The morning boat ride is available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, while the evening boat ride can be taken from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Visitors must pay a declared fee based on the number of visitors and the type of vehicle. The Forest Department provides trained guides, and it is mandatory to use their services. The sanctuary remains open from October to June.
