Echo Point in Munnar is a popular tourist destination among the picturesque Nilgiri Hills. Kundala Dam Lake in Munnar- Also known as Kundala Lake, this breathtaking location is approximately 8 kilometres from Echo Point on the way to Top Station. Aside from a panoramic view of the lake, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the tea plantations on the surrounding slopes. The area is also known for its blossoming Cherry Blossom and Neelakurinji flowers.
Mattupetty Dam in Munnar-Located about 6 kilometres from Echo Point, the Mattupetty Dam provides water and power to Munnar. The mountain ranges have a beautiful landscape that draws both locals and tourists. The tourism department maintains boating facilities. Elephants can also be seen on the banks. Other birds and animals visit the lake to drink water as well.
Nyayamakad Waterfalls in Munnar- Nyayamakad Waterfalls, also known as Nyayamakad Waterfalls, is a popular adventure spot in Munnar located approximately 25 kilometres from Echo Point. The waterfall is surrounded by evergreen forest, and sitting on the rocks to watch the water cascading down from a height of over 1500 meters is relaxing.
Anamudi Peak in Munnar- About 33 kilometres away, Anamudi Peak is the highest peak in southern India. The peak provides a bird's-eye view of the valley's evergreen bamboo forests and teak trees. You can also see the area's tea plantations, spice plantations, and wildlife. During your visit, you will see Asian elephants, Gaurs, and Nilgiri Tahrs.
CSI Christ Church in Munnar- About 18 kilometres from Echo Point, CSI Christ Church is a 100-year-old church built during British rule. It's a tranquil spot in the mountains. The church is also known for its well-kept architecture. It is a lovely church built in the Gothic style with granite and decorated with lovely stained glass and brass plaques.
Munnar Echo Point also offers a lush green setting for family picnics. It is famous for echoing your voice from the nearby mountains. Check it out on a quiet, misty morning. Many other tourist attractions are nearby, making Echo Point a must-see during your visit to Munnar.
