The highest point in Munnar, Top Station Munnar, is about 1700 metres above sea level. The distance between Munnar's main town and Top Station Munnar is about 32 kilometres. The top station lies on the Tamil Nadu–Kerala boundary on the Kodaikanal–Munnar route.
