Itinerary Details
Arrive in Cochin and embark on a scenic drive to Munnar, a picturesque hill station located in the Western Ghats. Witness the cascading Cheeyappara Falls, Valara Falls and Kallar Falls on the way to Munnar. Also, you will stop by Kodanadu Elephant Care Centre. Check in to the hotel, freshen up and spend the evening exploring the local markets for shopping. Overnight stay in Munnar.
After breakfast, get ready to leave for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Enjoy panoramic views of Anamudi, the highest peak of South India at 2695 m, which is visible from Munnar. Experience the breathtaking beauty of Pothamedu, the sweeping Mattupetty and Kundala Dam, Echo Point, Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum. Continue your tour to Rajamalai Hills, adjacent to the park, and stop by Mattupetty Dam, a famous boating and horse-riding picnic spot. Visit the aromatic tea plantations or indulge in thrilling sports activities like paragliding. Head back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Get up early to enjoy the sunrise, and after breakfast, get ready to enjoy the scenic beauty of Thekkady, the largest wildlife sanctuary of Kerala. Check in to the hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, you can take pleasure in the picturesque Periyar Lake. After breakfast, you will head towards the beautiful town of Alleppey, the most attractive tourist center in Kerala state, with a large network of inland canals earning it the synonymous \\\"Venice of the east.\\\" Once you arrive in Alleppey, you can check into the houseboat and indulge in a delectable lunch that will be served onboard. The place is surrounded by waterways lined with palm fringes and lush greenery, creating a picturesque scene that can transport anyone\\\'s imagination to a new dimension.
After lunch, you can embark on a houseboat cruise and relish the serene Alleppey backwaters. Enjoy the sunset and live your time to the fullest at the houseboat. Overnight stay at a houseboat.
