Itinerary Details

Arrive in Kottayam and check in to your hotel. Visit the famous churches such as the St. Mary’s Church and explore the local markets. You can also visit the Vaikom Mahadeva Temple. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kerala dinner.
After breakfast, travel to Alleppey and board a traditional Kerala houseboat. Enjoy a leisurely cruise through the backwaters, passing by lush paddy fields, traditional Kerala villages, and serene waterways. Enjoy freshly prepared Kerala cuisine onboard. Spend the night on the houseboat, surrounded by the peaceful ambiance of the backwaters.
In the morning, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, home to a variety of migratory birds. Afterward, check out of your houseboat and head to Kottayam for your onward journey.
