Itinerary Details

Day 1: Leh Arrival and Acclimatization

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh, where our representative will greet you with a traditional Ladakhi welcome. Transfer to your hotel and take the rest of the morning to acclimatise to the high altitude. After a hearty lunch, you set out to explore Leh, the capital of Ladakh.

Visit Shanti Stupa, a white-domed stupa perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Take a leisurely walk around Leh Market, known for its vibrant atmosphere and various local handicrafts. Wind down with a warm cup of Ladakhi butter tea and stroll along Leh's streets. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing

Start your day with a wholesome breakfast at the hotel. Today's exploration begins with a visit to Thiksey Monastery, a striking complex resembling the Potala Palace in Lhasa. Marvel at the intricate murals and the awe-inspiring Maitreya Buddha statue.

Head to Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. The Hemis festival, featuring colourful masked dances, is a highlight if your visit coincides. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the serene Himalayan landscape. In the evening, visit Shey Palace, a former summer retreat of the Ladakhi kings known for its 12-meter Shakyamuni Buddha statue. Return to Leh for a relaxing evening. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Leh to Pangong Lake Excursion

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pangong Lake, one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world. Cross the Chang La Pass, known for its challenging terrain and breathtaking views.

Arrive at Pangong Lake and be mesmerised by its ever-changing shades of blue. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lakeside and take a short stroll along the shore. Capture the beauty of this pristine lake, which gained fame after featuring in the Bollywood movie "3 Idiots." Drive back to Leh and spend the evening at leisure. You may choose to explore the local markets or relax at the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Ladakh Departure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and soak in the last moments of Ladakh's charm. If time permits, visit the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the brave Indian soldiers. Shop for souvenirs to carry a piece of Ladakh back home. Check out from the hotel and bid farewell to the enchanting land of Ladakh. Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your onward journey, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.
