Itinerary Details
Arrive in Kaza and check into your hotel or homestay. Use the day to relax and acclimatize to the altitude (approx. 3,800m). If energy allows, visit the local market or take a peaceful stroll along the Spiti River. Optional visits include the Sakya Tangyud Monastery or a relaxed café experience.
Overnight stay: Kaza
After breakfast, drive to the majestic Key Monastery, perched on a hilltop overlooking the Spiti River. Then visit Kibber Village, once the highest motorable village in the world. Proceed to Chicham Bridge, a stunning suspension bridge that spans a deep gorge and offers incredible photo opportunities. Return to Kaza by late afternoon.

Start the day with a scenic drive to Langza, known for its fossil fields and towering Buddha statue. Continue to Hikkim, where you can send a postcard from the world’s highest post office. Then head to Komic, one of the highest villages in Asia, and enjoy tea or lunch at a local Spitian home. Return to Kaza in the evening to relax.
